The technology
Two sensing chains, one timeline. Joint motion and muscle signal are captured together, so you can see how a muscle behaves through a movement.
Range of motion: high-precision IMU
An inertial measurement unit combines accelerometer and gyroscope data to track limb orientation. Two sensor units, one above and one below a joint, give the joint angle continuously.
- Real-time angle streaming
- Repetition counting from the angle curve
- Compact, wearable units
Why it matters
Range of motion is the clearest early signal of recovery. A live reading makes each session measurable and comparable to the last.
Why the front end matters
Surface EMG signals are only microvolts. A medical-grade analog front end amplifies and filters them before digitising, which keeps the trace clean enough to read.
Muscle activity: surface EMG
Electrodes on the skin pick up the electrical activity of the muscle. Strango streams the processed signal live alongside joint angle.
- Medical-grade analog front end
- Real-time activation display
- Time-aligned with joint angle
